Studio ByHAA is an architectural design studio working at the intersection of craft, design, regenerative architecture, and landscape. Designs are handcrafted in Egypt through a dialogue between local artisans and Danish designers. The studio works from the understanding that all things and scales are connected, linking architecture with craft, the intelligence of the land, and the people who shape it. Beginning with the land—its textures, rhythms, and hands—the practice brings the outside in, creating spaces and objects that belong. Through the handmade, Studio ByHAA seeks to reconnect people with nature, the land, and a slower sense of time.
Studio ByHAA's showroom will transform into a laboratory of material, time and aesthetics. The material based exhibition evolves around the concept of TANGIBLE TIME diving into the processes and practices of design. From the very origin of the material, its geological formation in the landscape, to its journey through series of artisan hands that shape and sculpt until the object is born. The exhibition invites the guests to connect with the material in its raw beauty, as well as visualise the time perspective of the design piece, which exceeds that of a human life by far.
