Studies of a Table. What defines an object as a table? It´s a platform for eating, working and gathering. It´s a center piece. &Tradition has invited 5 artists from Japan, South Africa, LA, India and Denmark to create a table that will be shown in an exhibition during 3 Days of Design. The art pieces will be auctioned and all income donated to develop art and design in the local environments of the artists.
Studies of a Table /ˈteɪb(ə)l/ a piece of furniture with a flat top and one or more legs, providing a level surface for eating, writing, or working at. &Tradition presents Studies of a Table — a hybrid art-design exhibition in collaboration with five exciting designers and design studios from across the globe who will push the boundaries of what is considered to be the archetype table.
