Studies of a Table. What defines an object as a table? It´s a platform for eating, working and gathering. It´s a center piece. &Tradition has invited 5 artists from Japan, South Africa, LA, India and Denmark to create a table that will be shown in an exhibition during 3 Days of Design. The art pieces will be auctioned and all income donated to develop art and design in the local environments of the artists.

Studies of a Table /ˈteɪb(ə)l/ a piece of furniture with a flat top and one or more legs, providing a level surface for eating, writing, or working at. &Tradition presents Studies of a Table — a hybrid art-design exhibition in collaboration with five exciting designers and design studios from across the globe who will push the boundaries of what is considered to be the archetype table. Join us at Apollo Kantine over 3daysofdesign to explore the concept and experience a reinvention of this everyday object.

Common for all Guild's members is the interest in noble craftsmanship, and not least the necessity of supporting the professional educational training.
