ALPI is a leading manufacturer of decorative surfaces made from reconstituted wood and was the first to industrialise this process. ALPIlignum veneer is crafted from real wood by deconstructing and reconstructing a tree trunk, creating a material that is not printed yet offers limitless design possibilities. The company's deep synergy with the design world has led to long–standing collaborations with renowned designers, with Piero Lissoni serving as art director since 2015. Nada Duele is a sustainable design studio based in Guatemala, dedicated to the creation of design objects and accessories that blend traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary vision. Founded in 2019, the studio collaborates with master artisans across Guatemala to craft unique, responsible, and timeless pieces, ensuring the preservation of traditional crafts while supporting job creation. Each creation tells a story of heritage and sustainability. Through recycled blown glassware, lambswool pieces, stone artefacts, and iron accents, Nada Duele celebrates Guatemala’s beauty and traditions while promoting an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The studio is led by multidisciplinary artists Giselle MacDonald and Mariano Orellana.
