The world needs change—more sustainability, stronger communities, and a better life for all. That’s why design isn’t just about creating something new; it’s also about improving what we already have, making it more beautiful, functional, playful, and appealing. It’s about listening to people’s needs and involving them in creating the solutions of the future. At Kolding School of Design, creative people from all over the world come together to do just that—through craftsmanship, artistic expression, and research. The teaching is based on practical experience, the latest knowledge, and close collaboration with the outside world.

For 3daysofdesign, Johan Borups Højskole opens the doors to its historic mansion in Copenhagen’s District Kultur, inviting visitors to explore two graduation showcases by emerging Nordic voices across disciplines. This semester’s final exhibitions feature projects from Design & Ceramics and Architecture & Arts—two distinct yet connected expressions of artistic education where tradition meets contemporary culture in an open, exploratory atmosphere. Set within the school’s historic courtyard and interiors, the showcases highlight the culmination of a semester shaped by dialogue, curiosity, and craftsmanship. Founded in 1891, Johan Borups' is a Danish ‘højskole’—a creative community based on growth, collab and reflection.

CRÈME ATELIER is a Swedish brand driven by design and sustainability. Its iconic 'Soft Serve' lamps, with their swirling forms and warm ambient glow, bring both elegance and playfulness to any space. Each lamp is 3D—printed in Stockholm using rPLA derived from corn starch and recycled packaging, minimising waste. As a pioneer in 3D—printed lighting, CRÈME seamlessly blends innovation with craftsmanship, keeping production, assembly, and shipping in–house to reduce its carbon footprint. Now expanding its range, the brand is set to introduce its first furniture piece, pushing the boundaries of sustainable design with cutting–edge 3D printing.
