RDAI

RDAI is an architecture, interior architecture and design agency based in Paris. The nearly one hundred employees from 10 different nationalities, work together on around the globe, always responding to the specifics of places and cultures.

For 3daysofdesign, RDAI is presenting "Seascape", an installation composed of two original pieces recalling the plant and marine world. In collaboration with the Copenhagen based cabinetmaker Atelier Aréthuse, RDAI has designed a table inspired by the seaside grape tree, "Coccoloba Uvifera”, accompanied by a rug evoking the ripples of the wind-swept sand. This rug is developed in collaboration with RDAI’s neighbours, the Parisian fabric editor, Maison Lelièvre.

Copenhagen based Icelandic designer Dögg Guðmundsdóttir creates nature inspired products with emotional appeal and a distinctive touch of Nordic originality. Many of her designs are based on foundational structures or pieces of art, while others form part of a collection. For this exhibition, nature is not merely an inspiration but an integral part of the essence of the works and of the installation, created in collaboration with Dýpi—an ocean paint made from calcareous algae harvested in Iceland. Dýpi was nominated for the Icelandic Design Awards 2025 for its product that is exceptionally breathable, environmentally friendly, plastic–free, and an innovative use of abundant natural materials.

Naver Collection is proudly crafted in Denmark by Aksel Kjersgaard A/S (1952) and Gramrode Møbelfabrik A/S (1924), a collaboration est. in 1995. Furniture ought to make room for people. That has been the philosophy since 1942, when FDB Møbler was founded, with architect Børge Mogensen heading up the studio. Many new designers have since entered the fold, but the foundational principles remain the same: To create beautiful, functional and exceptionally crafted furniture that makes room for everyday living at home. FDB Møbler is internationally known as a frontrunner of Danish design. It’s a story of classic pieces to be passed down from generation to generation. Regardless of whether they are talking about iconic pieces or new, innovative designs, the goal is the same: To have the veritable quality of life that was envisioned when the first pieces of furniture emerged in 1942.

Homo Faber Fellowship is presented by the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship, a non–profit institution based in Geneva, which champions contemporary craftspeople worldwide with the aim of promoting a more human, inclusive and sustainable future. The Foundation presents Homo Faber, a cultural movement centred on international master artisans and the next generations of craftspeople. The concept behind Woodnotes est. 1987 products is to combine artistic creativity inspired by Finland’s rugged nature with technology, to shape beautiful local raw materials. Softness of wool, purity of paper, glow of linen—the company collection represents timeless products of rare aesthetic quality. The unique paper yarn innovation—durable, allergy–friendly designer rugs and blinds made of paper yarn and cotton, are represented together with a selection of outdoor rugs, tufted wool–linen carpets, and atelier–woven cotton–paper yarn and wool–paper yarn rugs, among others.
