New Works presents a collection at the intersection between old and new. Light and dark. Design and art. For 60 years, Ingo Maurer has been designing and manufacturing exceptional designer lamps that bridge the gap between everyday objects and art. The Munich–based company's internationally renowned designs can be found in the collections of some of the world's most important museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Under the creative direction of Axel Schmid, Head of Product and Project Design, the team develops iconic luminaires that combine technical precision with a playful and often ironic design approach. Ingo Maurer's products are designed to surprise and inspire. As well as creating serial luminaires, the company has also made a name for itself as a designer of public and private spaces around the world.

Akua Objects was founded in 2022 by Annika Zobel Agerled and Josefine Arthur in Copenhagen, driven by a desire to create something meaningful and lasting.
