The Scottish Government's Nordic Office joins forces with Edinburgh design platform Local Heroes to showcase the work of Scotland’s most iconic print designers, Timorous Beasties. Local Heroes champions contemporary Scottish design and craft, curating inspiring spaces that highlight sustainable brands and visionary designers. Their collaboration fosters connections between Scottish and Danish design businesses. Co—located with Scottish Development International at the British Embassy Copenhagen, the office works to strengthen partnerships between Scotland and five neighbouring countries with shared values and open economies.

The aim has always been to create minimalist yet impactful pieces, functional yet artistic. At Kristina Dam Studio, the home is regarded as a place where the beauty of art integrates seamlessly into everyday life. By normalising the presence of sculptures and artistic objects, Kristina Dam Studio brings art out of the exclusive realm and into communal spaces, enriching the environment and inspiring those who inhabit it. The ethos of ‘Sculptural Minimalism’ continues to guide the studio, as it designs products that merge functionality with aesthetic refinement.

BassamFellows is a Furniture & Design House renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and distinctive creativity and character. It has taken shape over two decades and three continents, building a design language accented by purity, refinement and visual pleasure. The House has a story: it is about beauty with purpose, and operates on several levels. There is hand-worked furniture incorporating sculpted wooden elements and meticulous leather work. There is architecture and interior design, creative direction and frequent collaboration with like-minded artisans. The House offers different spaces and perspectives, but it is always defined by luxury.
