A–N–D is a decorative luminaire design studio and manufacturer where original collections are conceptualised, built, and assembled in–house. The name A–N–D is derived from 'A New Detail.' The studio explores new design possibilities through innovative production methods and by integrating the latest lighting technologies. In pursuit of the visually poetic, A–N–D is inspired by the unexpected and the everyday—compelled by light’s ability to shape and animate space.

What began with the iconic beanbag in 1998 has grown into a comprehensive collection of contemporary furniture, lighting, and accessories for both indoor and outdoor. Gejst was founded with a passion for making attractive, sustainable design that will last the test of time. Gejst means excitement and enthusiasm in English. From the beginning, the goal of the company has been to challenge traditional approaches to design to make a collection full of bold and playful products. Each bringing an instant attraction and passion that’s hard to explain but easy to feel. Focusing on functional design and high quality materials, Gejst takes a normal product, looks at the need to be fulfilled, then strips it down to come up with something thrilling. Multifunctional and thought through to the smallest detail. Each design is a testament to this approach and it is our way of bringing gejst into homes all around the world.
