Marrimor objects are made to be as delightful as they are purposeful, a touch provocative too. Each piece comes into being by way of a relentlessly collaborative process, one that balances refinement with irreverence. Tanja Breadner and Lauren Bugliarisi both shoot for the moon, creatively speaking, albeit from reverse angles, drawing on different histories. Tanja brings Swiss sensibilities to the platonic design partnership, and Lauren an East Coast drive. They create through playful debate, continually pushing their respective boundaries to reach that Goldilocks–like zenith between too little and too much. Marrimor's latest collection boldly blends five new pieces that explore material, form, and personality within a shared environment: the P2 Coffee Table, Drape Swivel Chair, Notch Sectional, Concerto Console, and Bloop Rug. Each reinterprets familiar materials—leather, ceramic, and beyond—in unexpected roles. Sculptural gestures, tactile surfaces, and lush colours create cohesion while letting each object stand confidently on its own. Together, they form a composition of distinct yet complementary characters, tied by Marrimor's signature balance of everyday usability and playful expression.
