Since 1940 Illums Bolighus has curated the best of Scandinavian design. During 3daysofdesign Illums Bolighus, together with DK3, Kasthall, Blindes Arbejde, FRAUEN x Klippan and Claybybond; will focus on extending the lifetime of iconic design classics.

With more than 140 podcasts published and four acclaimed editions of its annual fair staged in London, the brand made its international debut in Copenhagen in 2025 as part of 3daysofdesign—an appearance that exceeded expectations and confirmed the appetite for a deeper, more material–led conversation. Building on the success of last year, Material Matters returns to 3daysofdesign taking up, once again, the residence in the heart of Christianshavn, positioned as a key destination within the city.

Nosou is a contemporary Japanese design brand rooted in natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. Guided by the theme 'Time Makes Beauty,' they embrace natural aging in their products, as a form of beauty that deepens over time. Their first collection features lighting crafted from bamboo sourced in Kyoto. Inspired by Wabi–Sabi, each handcrafted piece develops its own character through years of use, becoming a unique object to be cherished. Light is adjusted by moving the fixture itself, offering a tactile and intuitive experience.

Hévéa House is a French design house rooted in a cultural dialogue between Europe and Southeast Asia. Inspired by a literary journey to Malaysia and the enduring presence of the Hévéa tree (rubber tree), the brand transforms a shared history into contemporary design. Confluentia Colorum is a site–specific installation presented by File Under Pop in Marmorkirken. It explores colour not as decoration, but as substance, energy and relation—formed through light yet experienced through the body as vibration, atmosphere and movement. Curated by Josephine Yaa Akuamoa, the work transforms the church into an immersive environment where colour is seen, felt and heard. Through art, craft, scent and sound, it reflects on presence, material awareness and colour’s power to shape emotion, perception and human connection.
