Gemla is a contemporary furniture maker—and always has been. Yet at the same time, they verge on being an anachronism. Always have. The company was founded in 1861, specialising in steam–bent furniture. It’s steam that makes bentwood furniture so exceptionally durable, yet graceful. On the factory floor, guided by the knowledge of craft, the brand meets patience, care and sustainability, passed down through generations. It’s no coincidence that its pieces are in high demand for hotels and restaurants—settings that require equal parts aesthetics and durability.

BAINA is an Antipodean brand of considered bathing essentials, founded in 2019. Yobiiro fuses traditional craftsmanship from regions across Japan with cutting–edge technology, transforming them into products that awaken the senses and emotions. It treats subtle shifts in light, scent, and temperature as colours that enrich everyday life. Like the first pour that draws water from a well, it invites new perception and awareness. Working with production regions, craftspeople, and technologists, Yobiiro explores forms of value beyond functionality or numbers—value meant to be felt. In doing so, it brings a first drop into daily life and sketches new possibilities for the future.

Moroso is an independent, family–run managerial company founded in 1952 and built around a corporate model that, in the encounter between Art and Industry, gives shape to designers’ ideas by balancing creative vision, industrial processes and craftsmanship, handling everything from a single bespoke design to mass production. All made in Italy. Moroso has repeatedly taken the lead in the past several decades to create collections of home furnishings that have been lauded for their artistic merits and excellence in construction. Their roster of designers includes Ron Arad, Patricia Urquiola, Ross Lovegrove, Tokujin Yoshioka, Doshi & Levien, Tord Boontje and Nendo among others.
