HANDVÄRK refers to the Old Nordic "hǫndverk" meaning craftsmanship. This heritage is emphasised through a appreciation for simple living and the use of honest materials. In essence HANDVÄRK FURNITURE believes great design should be two things: aesthetic and functional.

Experience the essence of playfulness and spatial exploration at HANDVÄRK FURNITURE's exhibit during this year's 3daysofdesign. Delve into a vibrant universe where minimalistic silhouettes and authentic materials converge, offering a splendid blend of our inner child's whimsy and the pragmatic decisions of adulthood. HANDVÄRK FURNITURE seamlessly integrates both aspects into its designs, and this year marks the debut of its first outdoor collection.

AOT is a small family–run design company based in Copenhagen. Driven by challenging materials, they aim to liberate these materials from what is expected of them. Inventing new hand–made processes is a core element of their practice where doing things the conventionally 'wrong' way, has proved to be ideal for creating things that are both original and classic. Things that are easy to read yet easy on the eye! AOT is both a design studio and a production house and everything they produce is made in Denmark — either in–house or with carefully sourced producers. This is a key part of AOT, as it enables their insistence and audacity to create things that are hand-made in Denmark and still affordable.

Founded in 2013, by Massimo Tonetto and Melissa Lunardi, VENICEM manufactures lighting fixtures and furniture that result from an incessant stylistic research. THE LUXCIOLE, By HISLE, A GLOBAL SUCCESS. This table lamp, from HISLE, with sleek design is the result of an extensive R&D work. Launched in 2012, it is a true success–story. HISLE then became a pioneer and leader in the global market for cordless table lamps. Its expertise was quickly recognised, and partnership and development projects were implemented with leading French luxury houses for the design and manufacture of their lighting. The LUXCIOLE is the brand's flagship product and is now regarded as an iconic light. HISLE advocates useful and responsible lighting. Secto Design is a Finnish family–owned company known for its architectural, wooden design lamps. Each lamp is meticulously handmade at the company’s factory in Heinola, Finland, where locally sourced, certified birch wood meets sustainable production methods. The harmonious light of the luminaires and the warm tones of wood create an inviting atmosphere in both private and public spaces.

Fucina Frammenti is a sustainable brand with an online shop focused on contemporary designs that prioritise material analysis and production processes. The brand aims to find new uses for Noble Waste—processed or semi–finished results—derived from the production cycles of other companies. This waste is repurposed through thoughtful design, creating new products with minimal energy expenditure while adhering to principles of disassemblability and monomateriality. This formula, called Noble Waste Mix, embodies a circular production-consumption-reuse model. Fucina Frammenti continually refines its practices through research, experimentation, and exploration of new materials, resulting in a constantly evolving product catalog.

In homage to Italian lighting master Carlo Nason, Form Portfolios opens its studio in central Copenhagen to a reflective presentation on Nason’s enduring legacy and the poetic clarity of glass, form, and light. The exhibition brings together rare archival pieces, newly rediscovered sketches, and a contemporary reappraisal of Nason’s iconic work—curated to illuminate both his inventive mind and the magic of Murano craftsmanship.
