Founded in 1920 by Commander Adelino Dias Costa, Adico began its journey manufacturing iron beds. By the 1930s, the company had expanded into hospital furniture and introduced a signature line of outdoor tables and chairs—most notably, the iconic Portuguese Chair. Since the 1990s, Adico has been at the forefront of innovation, focusing on the creation of contemporary indoor and outdoor furniture. Un'common is a polish design studio which creates furniture from finest materials such as marble, wood and steel. Yet the heart of the brand is stone. The founders believe that furniture should not only be well-designed – it should be a feast for the senses. Nothing can produce this effect quite as good as marble. It is a beautiful, refined, natural material that has been used for centuries in architecture, art and everyday life. During 3daysofdesign Un'common is going to present new BLOCK series latest exploration of contrast and harmony in design by brand. Rooted in the philosophy of balance, new pieces blend the raw, timeless elegance of marble with the warm sophistication of wood.
