In Terrassa, 30 km from Barcelona, Teixidors creates unique pieces of cashmere, wool and linen using 19th–century wooden looms. Founded in 1983, the company fuses exceptional craftsmanship with a strong social enterprise mission. Each blanket, throw, or shawl begins with a mindful selection of noble, natural fibres and takes shape through slow gestures, care, and a deep commitment to the craft. Their textiles are now sold in over 30 countries and have been part of collaborations with renowned creators such as John Pawson and Faye Toogood. At 3daysofdesign 2026, Warm Nordic continues “The Mid–Modern Reunion,” now in its second chapter, in partnership with Maharam, a leading creator of textiles and part of the MillerKnoll collective. During the golden age of design, Hans Olsen, Charles and Ray Eames, Alexander Girard and Verner Panton each shaped the world of modernist living. For the second time, their work is united through form and fabric—Olsen's Fried Egg Chair and Orange Chair dressed in Maharam textiles designed in the same era. Born at 3daysofdesign 2025, the tribute now enters its next chapter and includes a new highlight: a preview of Maharam’s next textile by Hella Jongerius.
