Viadukten is a workshop for hardware start-ups under Langebro. Here, the non-profit association Maker is helping entrepreneurs develop and scale products and business in a creative and curious environment. This is where designers meet engineers and architects meet plastic experts. Here, ideas can turn into inspirational projects, physical products and new business. At Viadukten you can experience an urban laboratory for sustainable product development. The workshop is an independent and member-based development- and test facility run by Maker. There are currently 40 professionals and start-ups working on a range of different products.
Experience the products and prototypes of 19 different designers working in the collective workshop under Langebro. A Community Approach is an exhibition showcasing how a strong community, the right facilities, and a series of skilled entrepreneurs can challenge sustainable product development. Maker invites you to experience how technology and traditional craftsmanship can be used to create extravagant designs, 3D printed devices, light installations and so much more. Here, designers and entrepreneurs experiment with materials, design, expression, and tactility. Maker provides the facilities to play and rethink the way we develop products, concepts and design. It's just more fun to play together.
