Fontein & Bova is a young, small-scale Belgian company with big dreams, specializing in the design and crafting of distinctive, solid wood designer furniture with great respect for craftsmanship and an eye for detail. All our pieces are entirely handmade in Belgium (Wichelen) by our small team of craftspeople with a tremendous passion for the material and the craft. High-quality hardwood such as oak and walnut are consistently used to achieve the most sustainable and high end result possible. Our partners, including those providing fabrics used in our upholstery, are carefully selected to ensure a reliable, 100% Belgian quality label.

During 3daysofdesign, Fontein & Bova will present well-known pieces from their Hugo collection, as well as a stunning, one-of-a-kind bar cabinet showcasing their proud heritage in true Belgian craftsmanship. Every piece is handmade with a passion for the material and an eye for detail. For the occasion, the Lapidarium of Kings will serve as a showroom for the beautiful contemporary works by the up-and-coming brand.

Un’common is a Polish design studio creating furniture from the finest materials such as marble, wood, and steel. At the core of the brand lies stone, the starting point of its design language and the essence of its identity. The founders believe that furniture should be more than well–designed functional objects; it should be a feast for the senses. It should evoke emotion and offer a tactile, multi–sensory experience. Few materials achieve this as powerfully as marble. Timeless, refined, and natural, marble has been used for centuries in architecture, art, and everyday life. Its weight, structure, and inherent imperfections give Un’common’s designs a sense of permanence and quiet sophistication.

A graduate of London’s Central Saint Martins, Helle Mardahl is an artist and designer whose work is marked by a sense of lavishness and extravagance combined with a sense of flamboyance. As a designer, Helle Mardahl is concerned with the beauty of contrasts. Her richly coloured glass designs are alive and natural, fragile yet robust, simple yet ornate.

Building on the success of the Finnish Design Embassy initiative, which has been active since 2022, this project has extended the concept to neighbouring countries for an even stronger presence around the world.

Ark Journal presents the third edition of DESIGN / DIALOGUE, an exclusive exhibition during 3daysofdesign bringing together leading international brands in a highly curated setting shaped by conversation, exchange and cultural relevance. Where attachment begins. "moifani" is a furniture brand launched in 2021 by SHIKI, an Okawa-based manufacturer in Japan. Design by SATEREO, the Portugal-based studio of Japanese designer Keita Sato. Its distinctive forms emerge as flowing curves that draw out the tactile warmth of solid wood and invite a lasting relationship between people and furniture. In moifani’s work, form is never arbitrary; it grows from the quiet dialogue between people, material, and everyday life. The "pombo collection", a series of dining chairs and tables, marks the brand’s latest release.
