With deep respect for design and acknowledging the urgent need for a circular transformation, FÓLK creates objects and furniture that enable the circularity of materials. Some of FÓLKs circular designs—such as The Airbag and The Lava Vase—have already become modern design icons, expressing how one’s waste can become another’s treasure. FÓLK explores new circular systems and develops designs from materials that are discarded, disregarded or leftover and through that journey aspires to facilitate people and companies to create more responsible interior solutions.

Ark Journal presents the third edition of DESIGN / DIALOGUE, an exclusive exhibition during 3daysofdesign bringing together leading international brands in a highly curated setting shaped by conversation, exchange and cultural relevance. Swedese is a classic Swedish furniture producer with a strong anchor in both the public and domestic domain. Swedese's ideals are the same today as they have been for the past 80 years. These are to create beautiful furniture for the future, which build on the foundations of Scandinavian modern traditions, designed by forward–looking designers who share in the timeless ideals of architecture. Swedese was founded in 1945 by the two brothers Yngve and Jerker Ekström and Bertil Sjöqvist, under the company name ESE Möbler. The headquarters are located at Vaggeryd, in Sweden, together with one of the factories. The second factory is located in Äng, a small village outside Nässjö, Sweden.

Since its foundation in 1911, the family–owned company Fredericia has proudly built a strong tradition of beautiful craftsmanship and innovative design, developed in close collaboration with a circle of internationally recognised names. Legendary designers such as Børge Mogensen, Hans J. Wegner, Mogens Koch and Nanna Ditzel, as well as contemporary figures like Barber Osgerby, Jasper Morrison, Cecilie Manz, and Maria Bruun, all play a role in shaping Fredericia into the design and craftsmanship institution it is today.
