Copenhagen based Icelandic designer Dögg Guðmundsdóttir creates nature inspired products with emotional appeal and a distinctive touch of Nordic originality. Many of her designs are based on foundational structures or pieces of art, while others form part of a collection. For this exhibition, nature is not merely an inspiration but an integral part of the essence of the works and of the installation, created in collaboration with Dýpi—an ocean paint made from calcareous algae harvested in Iceland. Dýpi was nominated for the Icelandic Design Awards 2025 for its product that is exceptionally breathable, environmentally friendly, plastic–free, and an innovative use of abundant natural materials.

Die Stoffmacher is a German design agency dedicated to textile living culture. What began over 20 years ago as a spontaneous experiment in Tom Rossau’s Copenhagen workshop has evolved into a distinctive design philosophy. While shaping wooden slats into a cylindrical form, Tom discovered the expressive potential of light, material, and form, and a new chapter in Danish lighting design was born. Today, the collection has grown to include a wide range of materials and styles, yet the brand remains rooted in curiosity, craftsmanship, and sculptural design. Each lamp is still meticulously designed and handcrafted in Copenhagen, with a strong focus on quality and responsible production, bringing Danish design to interiors around the world.

Kvik’s originality comes from redefining how people live in their kitchens. Kvik keeps it fresh by collaborating with leading Danish designers like Rikke Frost, Hans Thyge, Says Who, and supporting rising talents such as Annika Hoffmann and Bly Studio.
