A Danish design brand, and concept store founded in 1953 in the heart of Copenhagen by Hagbarth Skjalm Petersen and his spouse Lisbeth Westergaard. A centre for home interior and lifestyle items designed to inspire to an aesthetic and more sustainable lifestyle. The original design philosophy of H. Skjalm P. is still: focusing on sustainable production and natural materials, notably the organic GOTS certified textiles. The H. Skjalm P. collection includes a wide range of design in brass, in stainless steel, ceramics and glass, as well as textiles in 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. Sausset Leou is an architecture studio born from the affinity of its founders, grounded in a poetic, vernacular, and radical approach to spatial design. During their architectural studies at ENSA Paris Val de Seine, Kim and Rémy worked together on alternative design projects through shared studio workshops. Sausset Leou asserts a rigorous sensibility and a precise sense of poetry. Their approach combines formal rigour with narrative freedom, rejecting hierarchies between building typologies. Each project is conceived as a sensitive reinterpretation of the history of places and people. The aim is to make beauty accessible to everyone, without distinction.
