Birdie is a Danish brand redefining indoor climate & health through intuitive design and storytelling. Founded in 2022, the brand has experienced exponential international growth with only one product (Birdie) showing a new perspective on Scandinavian design and human technology. Just like the canary in the coal mine, Birdie® will drop dead when the air quality becomes poor, until you open your windows and bring it back to life. Simple as that. Birdie is on a mission to improve indoor air quality
in homes, offices and schools around the world. So far, there’s +60.000 Birdies hanging in more than 70 countries.

During 3daysofdesign, Birdie invites visitors to experience its very first collection of upcoming products at the Birdie Studio in Copenhagen city centre. Following its international success, the brand now introduces new designs that support its mission to improve indoor air quality in homes and offices. The exhibition offers a rare opportunity to step behind the scenes, explore the development process, and meet the team—including Design Director Hans Augustenborg.

Arthur Rottier is a designer and product developer based in Arnhem, the Netherlands. His practice moves between commissioned work and self–initiated projects, driven by an interest in how objects can be conceived and produced locally using contemporary means. The work is defined by advanced, computer–controlled engineering and production methods, careful finishing, and a restrained approach to form. Durability is central: materials are chosen for wear resistance, constructions are clear and legible, and connections are simple. Affordability is considered part of the design challenge. At the core of the practice lies the belief that beauty is essential to sustainability. Objects that are valued are cared for, and what is cared for lasts.

Founded to bring calm and grounding qualities into everyday spaces, the brand creates objects that balance soft minimalism, natural materials and refined craftsmanship. 14furniture is a Copenhagen-based gallery dedicated to rare and significant furniture, objects, and works of art from the early 19th century to the present. With a focus on Nordic design, artist-made furniture, Arts and Crafts, and early modernism, the gallery presents pieces selected for their cultural relevance and craftsmanship, rather than trends. Each object is approached as part of a longer narrative where architecture, art, and furniture intersect. 14furniture works with both historic and contemporary makers, creating exhibitions that encourage slow looking and informed collecting.

It all started more than 125 years ago, with two families—the Miele and Zinkann families. The engineer Carl Miele and the businessman Reinhard Zinkann founded a company for the manufacture of cream separators in Herzebrock. Their guiding principle becomes the business philosophy: Immer besser. Miele appliances, whether they are used for laundry care, vacuuming or in the kitchen, are subjected to the strictest stress and endurance tests before they are launched on the market. Miele design represents innovation, value and timeless elegance. It shapes the relationship between the person and the product, meets expectations, facilitates handling and creates trust.
