BAINA is an Antipodean brand of considered bathing essentials, founded in 2019. Distinctly modern and consciously created, the brand’s organic cotton towelling and clean apothecary formulations embrace bathing as an intentional practice—a conscious awakening in preparation for the day ahead, or the slow disconnect of the day that has passed. BAINA offers a gentle reminder to slow down and be present in moments once passed through as part of a routine.
The Practice of Bathing is a sensory exhibition curated by BAINA, presented during 3daysofdesign. It marks the unveiling of BAINA Home Fragrance, and extends the brand's ongoing exploration into the rituals that frame our most intimate, restorative moments. The exhibition brings together newly commissioned works by contemporary designers alongside historical bathing objects. Shown in dialogue with BAINA’s towelling, apothecary, & home fragrance collections, the installation forms a complete sensory environment—one that considers bathing as both necessity and ceremony. The installation offers a study in tactility, reflection and somatic connection, inviting viewers to reflect on how design can act as a quiet facilitator of care.
