aarticles presents contemporary and found objects chosen for their intention in material, form, and making. Bringing together everyday objects and sculptural works, they exist between function and reflection, where meaning is shaped not only by use, but by the traces they gather over time. Conceived as part gallery, part archive, and part marketplace, aarticles offers a place to encounter crafted design, where each collection reflects a way of living with objects in relation.
In Compositions, presented by aarticles for 3daysofdesign, objects from successive collections are placed alongside with newer works, the catalogue folding back through itself. One object leaves room for another to bend the phrase. In the overlap, a relation is made that belongs to neither object alone. To converse, after all, is to give up the fantasy of the immaculate conclusion. A thought shared unfinished, then built upon together, leaves no single author. So too with objects brought into company. In the collector’s home, found pieces and contemporary works meet inside the same composition; older methods and newer hands play at different speeds, in coexistence without forced harmony.
