Zofia Chylak
Zofia Chylak presents a series of site-specific works in bobbin lace. Rooted in a shared cultural narrative between Copenhagen and Warsaw, the works draw on the story of Bertel Thorvaldsen’s monument to Józef Poniatowski and its journey across time and place. At the center of the exhibition is the horse motif, reinterpreted through delicate lace into a light, almost transparent structure bridging history, craftsmanship, and contemporary fashion. Installed in dialogue with the space, the works form a subtle “lace entrance,” creating a layered, immersive environment.
