Royal Danish Academy
Set at the harbour–side home of the Royal Danish Academy’s Institute of Design, Product & Material, Here & Now celebrates design innovation. It presents new furniture design inspired by antiquity, marking the 7–year anniversary of a collaboration between Egyptian artisan–manufacturers and Academy students.The exhibition is accompanied by an outdoor installation of experimental ceramic furniture by Academy faculty. The Academy Library hosts three related exhibitions featuring graduate process work, lighting prototypes developed with Focus Lighting, and projects from the Academy Startup Hub. Tours of the Academy’s Chair Collection run through the day, while evening DJs & bars provide a relaxed setting for professional exchange and dialogue.
