Indalo
Indalo shows a new collection of hand made objects that explores the relationship between natural materials, the hand made and the traditions and roots of the southern african country Eswatini. Presented in a small private gallery, Strandgade 34, Christianshavn, the collection brings together a series of pieces including lamps, brooms, tableware and vases made of grass, sisal, clay, wood a soapstone. Indalo reflects a dialogue between craftsmanship and contemporary designs. The collection has been developed by Tintsaba x Sharon Venancio, Siyaphambili x Delphine Meriau and Agathe Pautrot, Welcome Mashaba x Heidi Strom, Master Artworks and Favourite.
