Pearson Lloyd
The act of making has driven human and cultural evolution for millennia, enhancing experience through ingenuity and innovation. In recent times, this creative process has been monetised, industrialised, and globalised, contributing to rapid social, economic, and environmental changes. In response, it becomes necessary to rethink the meaning of 'well made.' Curated by Pearson Lloyd, this exhibition series examines 'well made' through new forms of production and materiality that address the needs of a more ecological future. Godt Lavet, the second instalment of Well Made, invites the local community to define their responses to the proposition first introduced at Pearson Lloyd’s London studio and gallery in 2024.
