Established in 1980, Linie Design is a Danish design house with traditions deeply rooted in Scandinavian design. Today, Linie Design is one of the largest developers of handmade rugs in Europe, sold in over 70 countries, including in their own brand store in Copenhagen. All rugs are handmade in India by skilled weavers and crafted from carefully selected materials, chosen for their durability and unique properties. Kaikale is an India-based furniture brand rooted in local craftsmanship and people-driven making. In collaboration with the Scandinavian architect Alexander Mihel, the work brings together traditional Indian carpentry and Scandinavian design principles. Kaikale x Alexander Mihel presents a furniture collection developed over 2,5 years through a hands-on collaborative process. The collection is made using carpentry-based methods, working with established hardwoods and also experimenting with non-forest timber such as coconut timber. In India, the coconut tree has traditionally been fully utilised, with every part used. The furniture continues this approach by giving coconut wood a long life as durable, long-lasting pieces.

ykoon is a design label by Steven Gosseye built on conscious choice, valued not only for its design, but for the story, craftsmanship and integrity behind each piece. Each object seeks simplicity in form while remaining engaging through detail and proportion. Grounded in a strong technical foundation, every design is carefully refined down to its construction and finishing. The story of each object begins with an idea and evolves through sketches and prototypes into a well–considered result. Working exclusively with solid hardwoods, ykoon employs traditional joinery techniques, reflecting a deep respect for craftsmanship. Sustainability, tradition and character come together in objects shaped with care and intention.

During 3daysofdesign, Auping will present a newly updated version of the Essential bed. Inspired by Japanese aesthetics, the bed reflects a calm, minimal expression where balance, simplicity and functionality are at the core.
