Eikund
Eikund was established spring of 2016, and since then they have gathered the best of Norwegian furniture design from the 1950s and 60s under one brand. This is a result of a treasure hunt that gives old icons from their design legacy new life. The collection of Norwegian mid-century design features iconic works by renowned masters such as Fredrik A. Kayser, Sigurd Resell and Torbjørn Bekken. Quality requirements for high-end furniture makes Eikund both sustainable and viable; They would rather produce furniture designed to last, than something short lived. Eikund is part of the Inside Norway exhibition, curated by the Norwegian Design Industry together with other 11 leading Norwegian brands, including Fjordfiesta, LK Hjelle, Gudbrandsdalens Uldvarefabrik , Northern, Ekornes, Lundhs Real Stone, Formfin, Hadeland Glassverk, Varier and Jensen Beds.
