Natural Material Studio
During 3daysofdesign, Natural Material Studio presents a series of new light works and room installations—The Feeling of Copenhagen—in the context of a historic building in the city center. Taking as their starting point the colours, textures and qualities of Copenhagen, both series are an intentional exploration of the elements that surround and underline our everyday lives in a city that is a never-ending source of inspiration. Using the studio’s bespoke biomaterial, the works embody a deliberate contrast between rigid frameworks and the organic, almost unpredictable qualities of locally-sourced natural materials. Each work is an invitation to reconsider the objects that we surround ourselves with, that we interact with and live with.
