Vipp might have begun with a pedal-controlled bin (the only bin that has found a spot in MoMA’s permanent design collection) but over the last 80 years the Danish brand has grown to include kitchens, furniture, lighting, and accessories. In recent years, Vipp has expanded beyond objects to design five hotels as well as the Vipp Pencil Factory where Vipp Supper Clubs are held. Their newest space, Vipp Garage, is launched during 3daysofdesign. Whether it is developing a bin or a kitchen, creating a furniture line or hosting a hotel or supper club, Vipp always measure the quality of products and concepts on their long-term ability to provide an experience out of the ordinary.

Design, architecture, music, food, and art converge when Vipp welcomes visitors to its courtyard oasis in Copenhagen, where architects Frank Maali and Gemma Lalanda have transformed a mid-century garage into a cultural catalyst titled Vipp Garage. There is no parking in this garage, except for high-flying ideas. Meet art duo Pettersen & Hein who together with glass artist Alexander Kirkeby and interior designer, Julie Cloos Mølsgaard, reimagine the artful dining table. Mirabelle Bakery pops up on the 200m2 rooftop terrace of Vipp Garage with views to a giant mural by Mathias Malling Mortensen. Discover Vipp Loft, one of Vipp Hotel's five rooms, and get a preview of Vipp's new periodical - Vipp Journal.
