MOEBE is a design studio that creates beautiful, simple, and responsibly made furniture, lighting, and design objects with great details that last a lifetime. It's that simple. Formed in 2014 by architects Martin de Neergard Christensen, Nicholas Oldroyd and cabinet maker Anders Thams, they develop all of their designs in-house from the studio workshop on the island of Amager in Copenhagen. With each design, they aim to create an intelligently constructed, high-quality piece that not only works well and looks great, but also encourages people to enjoy life with fewer distractions; people who crave honesty, simplification, and a need for ‘less’.

MOEBE is hosting the first Unofficial 3daysofdesign Table Tennis Tournament. With lots of new things to show, like an expanded Shelving System range or the first MOEBE design with glass, the founders will be around to talk about modular design and constructional details. Or just for a game of table tennis.  Because it’s one thing to talk about designs, but it’s another thing to play on them.

HANDVÄRK refers to the Old Nordic "hǫndverk" meaning craftsmanship.

This heritage is emphasised through a appreciation for simple living and the use of honest materials.

In essence HANDVÄRK FURNITURE believes great design should be two things: aesthetic and functional.

It all began in 2013 as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavian

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.
