Mater use cutting-edge technology in production allowing them to transform waste materials into furniture. Through collaboration with well-established and new design talents, they create timeless designs in a sustainable and responsible way. Mater is continuously committed to finding and developing new waste materials and techniques that allow them to create more from less.
Each year, 100 billion tonnes of materials are used worldwide for producing consumer goods. Of this abstractly large amount, only 8,6% is recycled. This needs to change.
