File Under Pop is driven out of passion for creative surface design. The company specializes in clothing floors, walls and ceilings in a curated universe of color and tactile textures using handmade tiles, paint, textile and bespoke interior solutions. The Copenhagen-based brand, directed by Josephine Akvama Hoffmeyer, transforms rooms by equipping surfaces with tiles crafted from clay and lava stone, hand-painted wall pieces, textiles and durable, ultramatt paint. All products are processed by hand, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, resulting in characteristic surfaces. File Under Pop introduces a new Color Lab at Carlsberg Byen - a shop offering a whole new take on colors and interior consulting.

During 3dayofdesign – File Under Pop invites you to explore three locations across Copenhagen. For the first time, the brand is opening their new Color Lab in Carlsberg Byen – a living workspace, shop, and workshop, where you’ll be able to enjoy a live color workshop with File Under Pop artisans, while enjoying a glass of wine every day from 2pm to 4pm. In the brands Studio space, located at Frederiksgade 1, guests can immerse themselves into a universe of tactile surfaces, colors and handcrafted tiles, showcased to challenge conventional perceptions of living spaces and interiors. The Color Lab on Esplanaden 6 will be open for guests to receive free color guidance and take home a free sample paint bucket as long as stock lasts.

3daysofdesign is a curated design festival. In order to be eligible to participate as an exhibitor, you have to meet a specific set of criteria. Interested individuals, companies and brands can apply directly online via our application page.

It all began in 2013 as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavian

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.
