File Under Pop is driven out of passion for creative surface design. The company specialises in clothing floors, walls and ceilings in a curated universe of color and tactile textures using handmade tiles, paint, textiles and bespoke interior solutions. The Copenhagen-based brand, directed by Josephine Akvama Hoffmeyer, transforms rooms by equipping surfaces with tiles crafted from clay and lava stone, hand-painted wall pieces, textiles and durable, ultra matt paint. All products are processed by hand, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, resulting in characteristic surfaces.

During 3dayofdesign – File Under Pop invites you to explore three locations across Copenhagen. The new space in Carlsberg Byen at Bohrsgade 32 – a shop, workshop and showroom offering an immersive experience into colors with a special exhibition by artist Ida Tinning. At the brands Studio space, located at Frederiksgade 1 – guests can experience a curated universe of colors and tactile surfaces in the design exhibition 'Human Nature' that explores the relation between space, nature and human life. The exhibition will introduce an array of new products, patterned tiles, textiles and new paint colors. The brands city shop at Esplanaden 6 will host a color launch of the new colors and offer free paint buckets during a launch event.

Helle Mardahl Studio operates at the intersection of art and functionality to create a dreamy universe of richly coloured glass designs of eccentric deviance.

A graduate of London’s Central Saint Martins, Helle Mardahl is an artist and designer whose work is marked by a sense of lavishness and extravagance combined with a sense of flamboyance. As a designer, Helle Mardahl is concerned with the beauty of contrasts. Her richly coloured glass designs are alive and natural, fragile yet robust, simple yet ornate.

Furniture is a concept with a will of its own, conveying a unique expression. The ambition of Källemo is to produce objects that endure over time — aesthetically, artistically, physically, and metaphysically. Sven Lundh, the founder of Källemo in its present form, expressed, "An object shall stand the wear of the eye!" That's where the toughest wear occurs. Källemo collaborates with designers and artists who understand the essence of quality - achievement unaffected by trends, while also possessing the ability to surprise and challenge, contributing their own personal expressions. Källemo places its belief in the precision of cutting-edge technology, but equally values the hand that applies the final personal, magical touch.

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2025 the festival will be held from 4 - 6 June.

Pack your bags, book a hotel and come to Copenhagen! 3daysofdesign is open to the general public and everyone is invited to visit the showrooms, exhibitions, workshops and design talks.
