Outdoor furniture for generations!
Grythyttan Stålmöbler is a part of Sweden's industrial history, a part that continues to thrive and evolve. Some 90 years ago, they were manufacturing horseshoes. Today, they produce outdoor furniture in a production chain where they strive to constantly reduce the environmental impact.
In the factory in Bergslagen, they manufacture chairs, tables and sofas that are made to last for generations. Or, as the CEO Karl Lindqvist's grandfather Artur put it, "When you buy summer furniture from Grythyttan, your furniture needs are solved for many years to come."
The lifetime of the products is the companys most important contribution to a society which has to become more sustainable.

Furniture ought to make room for people. That has been the philosophy since 1942, when FDB Møbler was founded, with architect Børge Mogensen heading up the studio. Many new designers have since entered the fold, but the foundational principles remain the same: To create beautiful, functional and exceptionally crafted furniture that makes room for everyday living at home. FDB Møbler is internationally known as a frontrunner of Danish design. It’s a story of classic pieces to be passed down from generation to generation. Regardless of whether they are talking about iconic pieces or new, innovative designs, the goal is the same: To have the veritable quality of life that was envisioned when the first pieces of furniture emerged in 1942.

3daysofdesign is a curated design festival. In order to be eligible to participate as an exhibitor, you have to meet a specific set of criteria. Interested individuals, companies and brands can apply directly online via our application page.

It all began in 2013 as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavian

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2024 the festival will be held from 12 - 14 June.
